Miracle Mama: Kristen

Full story →

Before

Depressed, anxious, type-A controlling, jealous of others' pregnancies, lost faith, saying 'yes' to external guidance but not herself

Key Shift

Said yes to herself by enrolling in the 30-day program, rediscovered faith on her own terms, stopped tolerating limitation

After

Confident, peaceful, excited for others' pregnancies, spiritually connected, trusting her body and intuition

From Cancer Scare to Conception Challenges

Kristen's journey began with precancerous cells requiring surgery before trying to conceive. Despite warnings about potential scar tissue and cervical weakness, she recovered well but faced deeper mindset challenges rooted in religious upbringing expectations about early marriage and childbearing.

Four Miscarriages and the Medical Maze

After getting pregnant easily but miscarrying four times in nine months, Kristen underwent extensive testing that showed perfect health. Two fertility specialists recommended IVF, but she intuitively knew the issue wasn't getting pregnant but staying pregnant, leading her to seek different solutions.

The Mindset Breakthrough

While consuming fertility content helped intellectually, Kristen's transformation came when she enrolled in the 30-day program and shifted from saying 'yes' to external guidance to saying 'yes' to herself. She conceived naturally during week three of the program and carried her daughter to term.

Faith, Angels, and Full Circle Moments

Throughout her successful pregnancy, Kristen experienced angel numbers and spiritual guidance after rebuilding her faith on her own terms. The journey culminated in bringing her daughter to Disneyland exactly one year after declaring it would be their 'last trip as a family of two.'

Questions This Episode Answers

Can you get pregnant naturally after multiple miscarriages?

The desire in your heart to be a mom is there because it was meant for you. And when there's a will, you will find a way.

Rosanne Austin1:22

Yes, you can get pregnant and stay pregnant naturally after multiple miscarriages. The key is often addressing the mindset patterns that may be contributing to pregnancy loss, especially when medical tests show no physical problems.

What is low ovarian reserve and can you still get pregnant naturally?

if my low ovarian reserve is normal for my age group, then isn't that not a problem? Because you just said that's normal for my age group.

Kristen18:59

Low ovarian reserve means fewer eggs remaining in your ovaries. You can absolutely still get pregnant naturally with low ovarian reserve, especially when it's 'normal for your age group' as doctors often say.

How do you know if IVF is right for your fertility situation?

I am getting pregnant. I'm just not staying that way. So whether I do this naturally, whether I do this with IUI, whether I do this with IVF, I'm able to get pregnant any of those ways, I would assume, and the staying pregnant part would remain the same.

Kristen19:41

IVF may not be the right choice if you're getting pregnant naturally but not staying pregnant. The issue isn't conception but maintaining the pregnancy, which IVF doesn't necessarily solve.

What's the difference between reading fertility books and doing a fertility program?

in listening to the podcast and in reading your book and doing the exercises, in those at least for me, I was saying yes to you. But it wasn't until I said, on September first, I'm starting this program, that I said, yes, Kristen. You're gonna be a mom.

Kristen35:56

Reading books and listening to podcasts is saying yes to external guidance, while enrolling in a program is saying yes to yourself. The latter creates the identity shift needed for transformation.

Can your mindset really affect your ability to stay pregnant?

They're never they were never going to find a root cause because their tests were not going to find that it was my mindset that was the root cause.

Kristen22:16

Yes, mindset can significantly impact pregnancy outcomes. When medical tests show no physical problems but miscarriages continue, the root cause is often mindset patterns that create stress in the body.

How do you rebuild faith after fertility struggles?

I had to decide who I believed I had faith in and who I was giving giving this to to help me. I'd stepped away from that a long time ago, and I struggled with it.

Kristen43:57

Rebuilding faith means discovering who or what you believe in on your own terms, separate from past religious experiences or others' expectations. It's essential for releasing negative thoughts and trusting the process.

Perspectives 3

Advanced maternal age (over 35) makes pregnancy dangerous and unlikely to succeed

CONSIDER: Age is just a number - your mindset and belief in your body's capability matter more than chronological age

If you keep miscarrying, something is physically wrong that needs medical intervention

CONSIDER: Recurrent miscarriage can be rooted in mindset patterns that medical tests cannot detect or diagnose

Consuming fertility content and doing exercises is enough to transform your journey

CONSIDER: True transformation requires saying yes to yourself, not just saying yes to external guidance
